If you haven’t been out to check out the Utah Fall colors, or any Fall colors for that matter, then stop reading now and get out there. The Utah Fall colors are some of the best I can remember seeing and I highly recommend heading out with the family or friends and taking in some of the sights. In my first post about the Fall colors in Utah along the Wasatch Mountains, I showed a few images taken from Little Cottonwood Canyon. I wanted to follow up with a few more from the surrounding Wasatch Mountain canyons and scenic drives to show you the sights and Utah scenic photography you can see and come away with on a little scenic drive.

Alpine Loop Utah Fall Colors

The Alpine Loop in American Fork Canyon is one of the most scenic drives you can take along the Wasatch Front.  Add to that the Utah Fall colors and you have a recipe for some amazing views.  A week back I drove the Alpine Loop in search of my next epic Fall color image.  At that time I still felt like the colors hadn’t peaked yet.  So if you’re reading this now, get up there!  Here are a few Utah Fall color photographs from the Alpine Loop:

East Canyon Utah Fall Colors

East Canyon is another location I took a drive through just recently in search for some more Utah Fall colors.  The easiest way to put it was that I was absolutely amazed!  The colors are on their way out in this specific Wasatch Mountain canyon, but there were still plenty to go around.  The massive views and explosion of color was enough to boggle the mind.  It’s hard to figure out just what you want to make your photograph of…the epic landscape view or the intimate detail or abstract shot of the Fall colors.  Needless to say, I didn’t go home unimpressed.  Here are a few Utah Fall color photographs from East Canyon in the Wasatch Mountains:

It’s amazing out there people.  The Utah Fall colors are something that can be a fun outing for the family to hike through, or just head up with some friends to enjoy the great outdoors amidst some epic Utah scenery.  Set aside some time and get out there.  You won’t regret it.
