Every now and again I make the short hike to Cecret Lake in Little Cottonwood Canyon near Salt Lake City, Utah for sunrise. For some reason this place just seems so natural to photography at that time of day. However, I will have to try out some sunsets at the area sometime soon.
This one comes from a few weeks back on that short hike. It’s always a gorgeous site to see the clouds illuminate and the canyon start to glow. It’s almost too easy to forget to click the shutter in moments like this, which really wouldn’t be all that bad either. You can just sit and soak in the views and marvel at what the world has to offer us.
