Spring in the Columbia River Gorge is one of those times of year when you just can’t find a bad view. From epic waterfalls and rushing rivers to fields of yellow and purple wildflowers. You just can’t go wrong in a place like this when searching for landscape photography opportunities.
I made the trek from my home state of Utah to the Pacific Northwest and came away with some pretty stellar images of the wildflowers in the Columbia River Gorge area. Specifically, the area known as Rowena Crest was on the top of my list to explore and it sure didn’t disappoint this landscape photographer. Sunrise this particular morning on Rowena Crest was a little lackluster, but it sure did turn out alright in my book.
