I decided it was time to update my last video on Lightroom Import Develop Presets. The previous video was done in Lightroom 4 and while not much has changed between Lightroom 4 and Lightroom 5, I figured it would be beneficial to create an all new tutorial to help you learn the ins and outs of Lightroom Import Presets using the most recent version of the software. This Lightroom quick tip doesn’t take long to learn and can provide a huge benefit in the long run.

This new video doesn’t differ too much from the last, but I feel it gives a better explanation of what LR Import Develop Presets can do for your post-processing workflow and the time savings that go along with it.

Using Lightroom Import Develop Presets is an invaluable tool to use to help speed up your workflow. By adding a few simple setting on import to your photos, you’ll have a better overall view of each individual photo in your Lightroom catalog on first glance. This can not only save you time, but it can help spark your creative vision. Try creating some of your own import presets for your next batch of photos you upload and see just how they can help improve your photography post-processing workflow.
