About Me

Fascinated by the natural beauty of the world and all it has to offer, I became a self-taught scenic, landscape, and nature photographer and in 2012 started Clint Losee Photography. Since picking up a camera, I haven’t wanted to put it down. There is never a dull moment and always something to be photographed. Whether it be the mountains, the city, or the desert, beauty is always at my feet and in front of my lens.

While landscape and nature photography is my primary focus, wildlife, cites, and travel locations are all a part of my creations. I use tried and true methods in digital photography along with modern techniques of exposure blending to express the vision seen out in the wild.

Since becoming a photographer I have had images published in national magazines, won bronze awards in the 2014, 2016, 2017, and 2018 Epson International Pano Awards, and my photographs are displayed in homes, hospitals, and businesses around the country.

Artist Statement:

All of my photographs are all real images from real locations. These images are not created, partly created or generated by computer. What that means is that I have not added clouds, mountains, waterfalls, etc., where they were no elements of that sort to begin with, or even added a sunset where they wasn’t a sunset to begin with.

All of my images have been taken using high-quality digital cameras, lenses & filters on location around the country and world using techniques I have learned over the past few years. However, even with today’s amazing technologies, the digital camera is unable see the world in the same way that the human eye does. The dynamic range of cameras today are still unable to render details in both the high and low tones of certain scenes. With this limitation of the camera, some of my images have been created using multiple exposures of the same scene. These multiple exposures are then combined carefully using various techniques in order to provide a dynamic range that is closer to what I witnessed with my own eyes while capturing the scene.
